So this week we had a day trip and got to visit some amazing places. The first stop was at Winchester and here we got to go to a huge beautiful cathedral and fun fact Jane Austin is buried there and has a couple special plaques to honor her work. Also in Winchester there is a museum called The Great Museum and it has the Knights of the Round table, table. We got to dress up in Medieval clothing it was pretty fun. Next was Stourhead Gardens, which was beautiful and is where a lot of the movie Pride & Prejudice was filmed so that was pretty cool. Another fun fact Stourhead Gardens was all man made but the man who built it wanted it to look as natural as possible. The final destination was stonehenge and well if you don't know what that is.... I have pictures! it was really cool to see it even if it is only rocks but for the time period they were most likely put there they would have needed very technical minds and tools to align them like they did. Overall this trip was so fun and I got to learn a lot about so much.
