Canterbury Cathedral, Dover, White Cliffs at Beachyhead, Battle Abbey, & London Temple

This week we got to take a overnight trip where we got to visit Canterbury Cathedral which was beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing this specific cathedral because it had a lot of history just in the stain glass windows such as the monarchy of England. This part specifically stood out to me because in my history class we are learning about these specific monarchs. I love history so this was an amazing experience for me and I really enjoyed it. The next place we went was Dover Castle, which also was really cool because we got to go under ground into the caves of Dover. They were used in the beginning of world war 2 to hide the soldiers and even sometimes the Royalty living there at the time. That night we stayed at a hotel in Eastbourne. It was a beautiful little beach town. We didn't see anything just got to walk around and see the ocean. The next morning we went to Beachyhead and the white cliffs which are amazing. They were really pretty and made for a great morning. Next we got to see the famous Winston Churchill's home which was amazing and huge. His garden was amazing and huge. It was just a wonderful home and so much history in it. Next was Anne Boleyn's family country home. This was a fantastic place with huge gardens and a lake and just a fantastic place to see. I cant describe the beauty of this place. There was so much history in this home and just such a great opportunity to be able to see. The Final stop was the London temple. Not my favorite or most beautiful but still such a great place to see. This trip was great and I got to learn a lot and see so much.
